DECADENCE BY EVA TUSQUETS

Colliding two different aesthetic worlds, a very modern intake with the latex designs from the Brooklyn-based designer Gryphyn, versus a more retro ethereal ‘Suspiria’ inspired garments made by Cassandra Marie (designer of Lasegue Falret). To represent these two different characters entering the chamber.

A space where the feral creature is celebrated, in breaking internal taboos great storehouses of magical power are to be found. The Chamber: Decadence it’s inspired by the book Carnal Alchemy.

‘The main intention was to represent that sacred space where you set activities apart from the rest of your life. The chamber becomes that holy space, imbued with its own spirit and power. It is in this area of intimacy between individuals, between lovers, between mistress and devotee, in which some of the greatest magic of carnal alchemy can be worked in the world today. Through this kind of magic, individuals can be transformed, which, in turn, will lead to the transformation of relationships, which is a getaway to a metamorphosis of the world itself.’
(from Carnal Alchemy, by Stephen E. Flowers & Crystal D. Flowers).
